If you are tired of logic analyzers that force you to choose between sample rate and capture depth, Sipeed is changing the equation. Launching on Kickstarter, the SLogic32U3 is billed as the world's first 10Gbps USB 3.2 logic analyzer. By leveraging a massive bandwidth pipe, it streams high-speed digital captures straight to your PC's memory or SSD, entirely eliminating traditional buffer limits.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Name and Creator SLogic32U3 – The World's First 10Gbps USB3.2 Logic Analyzer by Sipeed.
What It Is The SLogic32U3 is a compact, 32-channel logic analyzer housed in a CNC aluminum enclosure. It utilizes a 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2 interface and an onboard DDR3 elastic buffer to sustain 800 MB/s (6.4 Gbps) streaming, allowing for continuous, deep captures of high-speed digital signals.
KEY FEATURES
Limitless Capture Depth Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen2 interface, the device streams data directly to your computer's RAM or SSD. You no longer have to compromise between how fast you sample and how long you can record.
Blazing Fast Sample Rates The 32 channels can be configured based on your speed requirements: up to 1.4 GS/s on 4 channels, 800 MS/s on 8 channels, 400 MS/s on 16 channels, and 200 MS/s when using all 32 channels. It supports a digital signal bandwidth of up to 350 MHz.
Coaxial Probes for Signal Integrity High speeds require clean signals. Every channel uses shielded coaxial probe cables to drastically cut down on crosstalk and noise compared to standard jumper wires.
Zero-Install Web App While it supports desktop software like SLogicView and ngscopeclient, it also features SLogicWeb—a browser-based app. You can plug the analyzer in and start capturing right from a Chrome tab, even on an Android phone in the field.
AI Debugging Integration It features a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This allows AI agents like Claude or Cursor to automatically trigger captures, run through its 150+ protocol decoders, and help pinpoint hardware failures.
Optional Analog Module If you need an oscilloscope, you can snap on an optional 4-channel ADC module for analog captures, meaning you only pay for analog capabilities if you actually need them.
REWARDS
Kickstarter Pricing The campaign offers incredible value for pro-grade specs. Super Early Bird tiers started at $99, with standard Kickstarter pricing sitting around $149—a solid discount off the planned $179 retail price.
Options The core pledge gets you the analyzer and the coaxial probe sets. The optional 4-channel ADC snap-on modules are available as a highly affordable $9 add-on.
Delivery As an active crowdfunding campaign, Sipeed will coordinate manufacturing milestones and communicate global shipping estimates directly to backers via campaign updates.
CONCEPT
The core concept is Unbottlenecked Debugging. The creators at Sipeed recognized that modern hardware protocols are simply too fast for older USB 2.0 and 3.0 analyzers, which rely heavily on small, expensive internal memory buffers. By upgrading the data pipe to 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2, they transformed the computer's massive system RAM into the analyzer's buffer, allowing engineers to record continuous, high-speed waveforms for as long as they need.
INSPIRATION
The project is inspired by the need to modernize the hardware development workflow. Sipeed saw that makers and professional engineers alike were still fighting with clunky driver installations and static debugging tools. They built the SLogic32U3 to be as frictionless as possible—making it usable directly in a web browser—while simultaneously preparing for the future of hardware engineering by integrating an MCP server so AI can assist directly in protocol decoding and failure analysis.
