A 100% 3D-Printable Workstation that helps makers work cleaner, safer, and more organized indoors.

If you are tired of getting dust and resin all over your desk while finishing your latest 3D prints, Creative3DP has engineered a clever solution that you can manufacture yourself. Launching on Kickstarter, the WorkBox is a completely 3D printable, fully enclosed workstation. By using modular panels and hand access ports, it allows you to sand, solder, and paint in a contained environment without spreading the mess to the rest of your room.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Name and Creator WorkBox A Completely 3D Printable Enclosed WorkStation by Creative3DP.
What It Is The WorkBox is a modular, fully enclosed workstation that you can 3D print entirely at home. It is designed to provide a dedicated, mess free space for makers who need to sand, solder, carve, paint, or assemble projects directly on their desks.
KEY FEATURES
Completely 3D Printable The entire workstation is built using 3D printable panels, pins, and connectors. It is designed to snap together without the need for a single metal screw or nut.
Enclosed Clear Chamber It features a working area that keeps the messy parts of making completely contained, protecting your surrounding room from dust and fumes.
Hand Access Ports Built in ports allow you to comfortably reach inside and work on your models while keeping all the debris, dust, and toxic resin scraps safely enclosed.
Removable Catch Tray The bottom features a removable tray with raised edges, making it incredibly easy to catch and dispose of leftover scraps and dust after a project.
Modular Organization The exterior supports over one hundred different printable attachments, giving every tool, glue bottle, and spare part a specific home on the side of the box.
REWARDS
Kickstarter Pricing Backers can secure the complete set of digital STL files for a discounted price, starting around 39 dollars.
Options The campaign focuses on digital delivery, meaning supporters are purchasing the digital blueprints needed to print and assemble the workstation on their own 3D printers.
Delivery The Kickstarter campaign is active through August 20, 2026. Because it is a digital product, backers can expect to receive their files shortly after the campaign successfully concludes.
CONCEPT
The core concept is Contained Creativity. The creator at Creative3DP believes that making things should not require ruining your desk or breathing in harmful dust. By engineering a completely 3D printable enclosure, they aim to give hobbyists a clean, organized, and safe environment to finish their models indoors without needing a dedicated workshop.
INSPIRATION
The project was inspired by the common frustrations of modern 3D printing and crafting in small spaces. Priyank Pal, the creator behind Creative3DP, transitioned from management to 3D printing and realized that the post processing stage was always a messy chore. He wanted to design a highly functional system that not only protected the user but also utilized the 3D printer to solve its own messy problems, allowing any desk to instantly convert back into a clean workspace when the job is done.
