Key Features
MagSafe Compatibility: The Side Line effortlessly attaches to the back of your MagSafe-compatible iPhone (iPhone 12 and newer, with or without a case) or any magnetic surface (like a whiteboard or fridge). This ensures your notebook is always conveniently accessible, encouraging spontaneous note-taking and keeping you present rather than absorbed by phone notifications. For non-MagSafe phones, an optional adhesive magnet ring may be available.
Full-Grain Leather Cover: Each Side Line notebook is crafted from high-quality full-grain leather (chrome tanned, specifically Crazy Horse Leather for certain colors), providing a luxurious feel and exceptional durability. This premium leather will develop a unique and distinguished patina over time, reflecting your personal journey.
Integrated Full-Size Aluminum Pen: The system includes a sleek, anodized aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum pen (referred to as "Side Pen"). Despite the compact size of the notebook, the pen is designed to extend to a comfortable full size for writing. It uses easily replaceable, high-quality German-made D1 ink cartridges, ensuring a smooth writing experience and long-term usability. A patent-pending pen dock securely holds the pen within the notebook.
Replaceable Eco-Friendly Paper: The Side Line uses premium, 100% recycled, acid-free paper, 130GSM in weight, which is described as fountain pen friendly. Each notebook comes with a paper pack containing 3 refills (40 sheets per refill), and refills will be available post-campaign. Backers can choose between blank, dotted, or lined paper, and thread-bound or tear-away options during the survey. The design ensures the notebook can be used for a lifetime, reducing waste.
