If you are tired of bulky leather bifolds and want to streamline your everyday carry, Ohsnap has engineered a highly customizable alternative. Launching on Kickstarter, the Ohsnap Wallet 2 is a modular, magnetic pop-up wallet. By combining a rigid aluminum frame with an interchangeable cover system, it allows you to carry exactly what you need while doubling as a MagSafe compatible phone grip and stand.

What It Is The Ohsnap Wallet 2 is an ultra-minimal metal wallet. Designed to eliminate pocket bulk, it uses a modular "Core" system to securely hold your cards while attaching directly to the back of a MagSafe compatible smartphone.
KEY FEATURES
Modular Card Cores Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all design, the system is built around three core options. You can choose the C3, C5, or C7 core, which hold three, five, or seven cards respectively.
Spring-Loaded Quick Access The bottom of the wallet features a mechanical lever. Pulling this lever instantly fans out your cards for quick, one-handed access, eliminating the need to dig around with your thumb.
Interchangeable Covers The wallet uses strong bipole magnets to attach covers without tools or adhesive. You can easily swap between plain anodized aluminum, carbon fiber, a money clip cover, or an ID cover with locking guide rails.
MagStack Technology A special MagSafe cover allows you to snap the wallet directly onto your phone. Furthermore, the MagStack system lets you connect magnetic accessories to both sides, so you can mount your phone to a car dash or attach a SnapGrip without removing the wallet.
RFID Protection Because the core is CNC-machined from solid aluminum, it naturally blocks RFID signals, protecting your credit cards from digital skimming.
Integrated Grip and Stand When paired with the SnapGrip module, the wallet transforms into a secure pop-socket style grip and a sturdy kickstand for hands-free video viewing.

Kickstarter Pricing Early backers can secure the base wallet starting at roughly $45, a significant discount off the retail price. Fully customized bundles range from $59.99 to $89.99 depending on the chosen covers and materials.
Options Supporters select their preferred core size and can mix and match cover plates, materials like wood burl, and add-ons in the post campaign survey.
Delivery The campaign is heavily funded and runs through late September 2026. The Ohsnap team is currently targeting January or February 2027 for fulfillment, with shipping limited to the United States for this launch.
CONCEPT
The core concept is Maximum Modularity. The creators at Ohsnap believe that your wallet should adapt to your specific daily needs rather than forcing you to conform to a static design. By engineering a system where the card capacity and outer functionality can be swapped on the fly, they aim to give minimalists the exact tool they need for any given day.
INSPIRATION
The project is a direct evolution of the original viral Snap Wallet. Taking feedback from their first highly successful campaign, the team recognized that while users loved the magnetic attachment, the original felt more like a collection of add-ons than a unified product. They went back to the drawing board to formalize the architecture, introducing the foundational Card Core system and refining the mechanical lever to create a much more durable and cohesive everyday carry solution.
