Wizard’s Light: A Staff-Lamp That Brings Magic to Your Space
Rechargeable LED staff, portable, customizable - bringing a touch of fantasy back into your everyday space.
If you have ever wanted to bring the aesthetics of your favorite fantasy novels or tabletop RPGs directly into your living room, Eldencraft has designed a unique piece of functional decor. Launching on Kickstarter, Wizard's Light is exactly what it sounds like: a staff-lamp that brings magic to your space. By combining detailed, ancient-relic styling with modern rechargeable LEDs, it serves as both an ambient room light and a portable fantasy prop.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Name and Creator Wizard's Light: A Staff-Lamp That Brings Magic to Your Space by Eldencraft.
What It Is Wizard's Light is a rechargeable LED lamp designed to look like a legendary wizard's staff. Mounted on its dedicated stand, it functions as a moody ambient lamp for your desk or gaming table. Detached, it becomes a portable, glowing handheld staff.
KEY FEATURES
Dual Functionality It serves as a static tabletop lamp for bedrooms or workspaces, and easily detaches from its base to be wielded as an illuminated staff for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) or cosplay.
Cordless Operation Powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, the staff provides over an hour of continuous glowing illumination when disconnected from a power source.
Adjustable Brightness The light features two distinct brightness levels, allowing users to seamlessly switch between a soft ambient glow for atmosphere and a brighter setting for functional lighting.
Ancient Relic Aesthetic While crafted from modern, non-wood materials, the body is highly detailed with a richly textured wood-grain surface and a walnut-brown finish, designed to evoke a weathered magical artifact.
Custom Personalization Backers have the option to add an "Imprinting a Word" add-on, which allows them to engrave their own name, character name, or a short phrase directly onto the staff to make it a one-of-a-kind collectible.
Thematic Unboxing The top-tier "Legendary Full Package" is delivered in a custom box modeled after a fantasy treasure chest, ensuring that even the unboxing process feels like discovering a legendary item.
REWARDS
Kickstarter Pricing The campaign is incredibly successful, raising nearly $500,000 against a small $5,000 goal. Early backers can secure the Standard Package starting at $169 (a 32 percent discount off MSRP), while the Legendary Full Package is available for $239.
Options Pledges include the main Wizard's Light staff, base stand, and charging cables. Backers can also purchase optional add-ons like a Crystal Light Cover and Adornment Kits.
Delivery The Kickstarter runs through October 18, 2026. The Eldencraft team estimates that global delivery to backers will begin in January 2027.
CONCEPT
The core concept is Practical Fantasy Decor. The creators at Eldencraft believe that everyday lighting does not have to be boring. By engineering a functional lamp that seamlessly doubles as a fantasy prop, they aim to give TTRPG players and fantasy fans a way to naturally bridge the gap between their real-world workspaces and the imaginary worlds they love to explore.
INSPIRATION
The project was born from a childhood dream of wielding real magic. The team started with the simple idea of designing a unique lamp but quickly realized that lighting has the power to completely shift the emotional atmosphere of a space. They set out to take the iconic wizard's staff—an object so many dreamed of holding—and translate it into a highly detailed, functional piece of home decor that allows fans to physically interact with their own stories.
