Sleep Like You're Home. Even at 30,000 Feet.

If you are tired of lugging around bulky neck pillows that take up half your carry on luggage, TRAVELAND has designed an ultra compact alternative. Launching on Kickstarter, the A-Nap Air is billed as the last travel pillow you will actually carry. By combining a 360 degree support system with a lightweight inflatable design, it delivers real comfort on flights and road trips without the cumbersome size of traditional foam pillows.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Name and Creator A-Nap Air The Last Travel Pillow You'll Actually Carry by TRAVELAND.

What It Is The A-Nap Air is an ultra lightweight, palm sized inflatable travel pillow. It is designed to provide comprehensive neck support and improved airflow, ensuring you can sleep comfortably on airplanes or trains while packing down small enough to fit into your pocket.

KEY FEATURES

  • Featherlight Build The entire pillow weighs just 40 grams, making it lighter than a standard egg and completely unnoticeable in your daily carry or travel bag.

  • 360 Degree Support Unlike standard U shaped pillows, it provides full 360 degree support. It keeps your head comfortably stabilized from the front, sides, and back to prevent neck strain during long flights.

  • Quick Inflation and Deflation The air based design allows for rapid inflation when you are ready to sleep and instant deflation when it is time to pack up.

  • Seat Secure System It features a clever design that allows it to be secured to your seat, keeping your head upright and preventing the dreaded forward head nod while you rest.

  • Improved Airflow The structure is explicitly designed to promote air circulation around your neck, preventing the overheating and sweating that often happens with thick memory foam alternatives.

REWARDS

  • Kickstarter Pricing Early backers can secure the A-Nap Air for around 98 dollars, with further discounts available if you choose to bundle multiple pillows for family or travel partners.

  • Options Supporters are backing the core inflatable pillow system along with its compact carrying pouch.

  • Delivery The Kickstarter campaign is highly successful and will remain active until September 3, 2026. The creators expect to begin shipping the pillows to backers in November 2026, just in time for the holiday travel season.

CONCEPT

The core concept is Unburdened Travel Rest. The creators at TRAVELAND believe that the gear designed to make travel more comfortable should not become an annoying burden to carry. By engineering a pillow that relies on air and smart geometry rather than heavy foam, they aim to give frequent flyers a full sized rest experience that magically disappears into a pocket when not in use.

INSPIRATION

The project is built directly on the proven foundation of the original A-Nap design, which was backed by over 2300 supporters. Taking feedback from that highly successful first campaign, the design team focused on maximizing portability and breathability. They recognized that even the best travel pillows were often left at home because they were simply too bulky to strap to a backpack, inspiring them to shrink the profile down to a mere 40 grams while maintaining premium neck support.
