What It Is The Apex 1 Pro is a portable, foldable overhead scanner designed for researchers, office professionals, and students. It acts as an all in one digital archiving station, using built in artificial intelligence to capture, correct, and export physical documents directly to internal storage or a memory card.

Built in AI Processing The scanner features CamScanner AI, which actively processes the image as you take it. It automatically flattens curved book pages, digitally removes your fingers from the frame, reduces glare, and crops the document edges perfectly.
High Speed Auto Capture You do not need to constantly press a button to scan. The device detects when you turn a page and automatically triggers the shutter, allowing you to capture up to 40 pages per minute.

INSPIRATION
The design was shaped by direct feedback from over 600 early testers. The engineering team specifically wanted to solve the common pain points of archival book scanning, where pressing a book flat damages the spine, but leaving it open causes dark shadows and warped text in the middle.
