Rhino Rdy: The Modular Field System

A system of packs and modules that keep you ready in seconds. One Core. Three Bags. Any Mission.

The Backpack System That Adapts to Any Mission: Rhino RDY

We often find ourselves repacking our bags for every different activity. You have a gym bag, a work bag, and a travel bag, and you constantly shuffle gear between them, inevitably forgetting something important. Rhino RDY is solving this chaos with a modular field system built around a single "core." By standardizing how you carry your essentials, they promise a system where you can swap your entire loadout from a waterproof dry bag to a tactical travel pack in seconds, ensuring you are always ready without the hassle of repacking.

Project Overview

Name and Creator: Rhino Rdy: The Modular Field System by RHINO RDY.

What It Is: This isn't just a backpack; it is an ecosystem built around the "Core-01," a rigid, injection-molded organizing panel. This panel holds modular pouches (for tech, medical, toiletries, etc.) and snaps securely into any of the system's three specialized bags: the Hydra (25L waterproof), the Sentry (35L workstation), or the Fury (45L travel).

Key Features

The Core-01 Architecture: The heart of the system is the rigid mounting plate. It acts as a skeleton for your gear, allowing you to mount pouches in a specific layout. Once organized, this entire "core" can be transferred between different bags instantly, so your essential tools are always in the same place.

Three Mission-Specific Packs:

  • Hydra (25L): A fully RF-welded, waterproof "dry-carry" pack designed for wet environments and outdoor adventure.

  • Sentry (35L): A "responder" style pack that opens flat like a clamshell, turning into a vertical workstation perfect for EDC or photography.

  • Fury (45L): A maximum-capacity "overlander" pack built for long-haul travel and vehicle-based sustainment. Plug-and-Play Modules: The system launches with five specific modules (like medical, tech, or admin pouches) that snap onto the Core. This moves the user away from "stuffing" a bag to "mounting" gear, providing an instant visual inventory of your supplies. Premium Materials: The gear is built to professional specs using high-tenacity Cordura, ReCor fabrics, and custom injection-molded HDPE for the frames. It is designed to withstand sub-zero temperatures and high-impact use. Rapid Access Design: Every zipper pull and buckle is oversized and glove-friendly, engineered to be operated in the dark, in the rain, or under high stress without fumbling.

Rewards

Kickstarter Pricing: Backers can secure the system at approximately 30% off the MSRP.

Options: Rewards range from individual packs (like just the Hydra or Sentry) to complete "Full System" bundles that include the Core-01, all three bags, and a set of modules.

Delivery: The campaign is scheduled to end in February 2026, with manufacturing taking place through the spring and final global deployment to backers estimated for August 2026.

Concept

The core concept is "One System, Any Mission." Rhino RDY believes that your gear organization shouldn't change just because your environment does. By separating the "organization" (The Core) from the "protection" (The Bags), they allow users to maintain a consistent muscle memory for where their tools are, regardless of whether they are commuting to an office or hiking in a storm.

Inspiration

The project was born "on the fire line." The creators have a background in building equipment for high-stakes environments where failure is not an option. They wanted to bring that level of "mission readiness" to everyday carry, solving the problem of disorganized, abyss-like backpacks by applying tactical modularity to civilian life.
