Transparent Frame | Album Display | Hi-Fi Audio Output | Bluetooth & AUX | Anti-Shock Playback | Wall & Desk Mount

If you are tired of hiding your music collection in anonymous black boxes, SYITREN has designed a player that puts physical media front and center. Launching on Kickstarter, the RM1 is a transparent CD player that transforms your favorite albums into kinetic art. By combining a clear acrylic frame with a glowing LED matrix and wireless connectivity, it allows you to display and enjoy your CDs like living artwork.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Name and Creator SYITREN RM1 Frame Your Music, A Living Art CD Player by SYITREN.

What It Is The SYITREN RM1 is a beautifully designed transparent CD player. It strips away the traditional opaque housing to fully expose the spinning disc and optical mechanics, turning audio playback into a mesmerizing visual feature for your home or office.

KEY FEATURES

  • Transparent Acrylic Design The player is built with a dual layer transparent acrylic frame held together by metal corner pillars. This design leaves the spinning disc and internal components fully visible, making the hardware itself a piece of kinetic art.

  • Versatile Mounting Options The metal hardware serves dual purposes. Detachable support legs allow the RM1 to sit upright on a desk, while a rear mounting slot lets you hang it flat against a wall like a framed picture.

  • Smart LED Matrix The mainboard features a warm yellow 12 by 8 LED matrix display. It clearly shows track numbers, volume levels, and simple animated graphics, alongside a linear indicator that marks the progress of the current song.

  • Wireless and Wired Audio The player focuses purely on the source signal and does not include internal speakers. You can stream your CDs directly to wireless headphones or speakers via Bluetooth 5.3, or use the standard 3.5 millimeter AUX output to connect to an existing stereo system.

  • Anti Shock Playback To ensure smooth listening even if the unit is bumped, the RM1 features anti shock buffering. It provides 40 seconds of protection for standard audio CDs and up to 120 seconds for MP3 discs, which is especially useful when the unit is wall mounted.

  • Rechargeable Battery A built in 2000 mAh rechargeable battery provides six to eight hours of continuous playback. It charges easily via a standard USB C connection, keeping your setup clean and wire free during use.

REWARDS

  • Kickstarter Pricing Early backers can secure the RM1 CD player through the Launch Special tier for just 89 dollars. This represents a significant discount compared to the planned retail price of 179 dollars.

  • Options Supporters can pledge for the standalone player or opt for the Frame and Sound Bundle for 139 dollars, which includes SYITREN's matching N200 wireless speaker. While clear acrylic is standard, custom color options for the frame are also available.

  • Delivery The Kickstarter campaign is fully funded and will conclude in early September 2026. The creators expect to begin worldwide shipping to backers in October 2026.

CONCEPT

The core concept is Living Album Artwork. The creators at SYITREN believe that as physical music formats make a comeback, the players themselves should not pretend to be invisible pieces of technology. By taking the opposite approach of traditional electronics and fully exposing the mechanics, they aim to treat audio playback as a visual centerpiece that complements modern minimalist decor.

INSPIRATION

The project was inspired by the massive resurgence of vinyl records and cassette tapes, which led the team to recognize that CDs were also regaining popularity among music lovers who miss the tangible experience of physical media. Established in 2017 and known for their stylish audio gear, the SYITREN engineering team wanted to bridge the gap between nostalgic CD playback and gallery style presentation, ultimately creating a player you actually want to look at while you listen.
