The Idea
Concept:Ā The Thinking Egg IV is positioned as a "quiet rebellion against the hum." The core concept is to challenge the modern cycle of constant busy-ness by creating an object that actively promotes taking a moment to pause, breathe, and step back from the constant rush. It emphasizes that slowing down is not equivalent to falling behind, but rather a way to find one's own rhythm.
Inspiration:Ā The creator, Orijin Design Company, was founded out of a weariness with products designed to keep people busy. The company is inspired to make objects that do the oppositeāthings one can hold, use, and feelādesigned to help users take a "damn moment for yourself." The eggs are intended to be simple, beautiful, and tactile reminders to be more intentional and present.
