The Big Screen in Your Pocket: Vizo X1 Pro

We consume more media than ever, but we are stuck watching it on tiny 6-inch phone screens or hunching over laptops. The dream of a portable cinema usually involves bulky VR headsets that isolate you from the world. Vizo is bridging that gap with the X1 Pro, a pair of lightweight Micro-OLED AR glasses that project a massive virtual screen in front of your eyes. By combining high-definition clarity with a sunglass-style form factor, they promise a cinema experience you can wear anywhere. From the subway to the sofa.

Project Overview

Name and Creator: Vizo X1 Pro: The New Generation Micro-OLED AR Glasses by Vizo Tech (JUNYU).

What It Is: The X1 Pro is a wearable display system that functions as a portable 120-inch HD screen. Unlike full-immersion VR headsets that block your vision, these AR glasses allow you to see your surroundings while overlaying digital content. Powered by advanced Sony Micro-OLED panels, they plug directly into smartphones, consoles (Steam Deck, Switch), and laptops to provide an instant private theater or productivity monitor.

Status: The project is currently active on Kickstarter.

Key Features

Micro-OLED Display: The core of the X1 Pro is its dual Sony Micro-OLED screens, which deliver 1080p resolution per eye with incredible contrast and deep blacks. This technology provides a sharp, vivid image equivalent to watching a 120-inch TV from 4 meters away.

Lightweight Ergonomics: Weighing in at just under 80g, the glasses are designed for extended wear. They feature adjustable nose pads and flexible temple arms to ensure comfort during long movies or gaming sessions.

Direct Device Compatibility: With a USB-C connection, the glasses work seamlessly with Android phones, iPhone 15/16, iPads, and handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck, requiring no bulky battery packs or adapters for most devices.

0-600° Diopter Adjustment: For users who wear prescription glasses, the X1 Pro includes built-in myopia adjustment knobs. You can dial in your prescription for each eye individually (from 0 to -6.00D), eliminating the need to wear contact lenses or fit the unit over frames.

Privacy Mode: The display uses directional audio and light-leakage prevention technology, ensuring that only the wearer can see the screen and hear the audio, making it perfect for private viewing on airplanes or in public spaces.

Rewards

Kickstarter Pricing: Backers can secure the Vizo X1 Pro at a "Super Early Bird" tier, offering approximately 40% off the expected retail price.

Options: The glasses are available in a standard "Iron Grey" finish. Higher reward tiers include the "Vizo Dock," an adapter that allows connection to HDMI devices like the Nintendo Switch or PS5 while charging simultaneously.

Delivery: The team has completed tooling and trial production, with shipping to global backers estimated to begin in June 2026.

Concept The core concept is "The Anywhere Screen." Vizo believes that screen size shouldn't be dictated by the physical device you are carrying. By virtualizing the display, they aim to decouple "immersion" from "bulk," giving users the visual impact of a home theater system in a device that fits in a pocket.

Inspiration The project began when the founder, a frequent business traveler, grew frustrated with trying to work and relax in cramped economy seats. He realized that while processors and batteries were getting smaller, screens were physically limited by the device size. Inspired by the clarity of professional camera viewfinders, the team turned to Micro-OLED technology to create a solution that offers the "big screen" experience without the footprint.
